93.3 WMMR and the American Red Cross teamed up in a big way to replenish blood supplies in advance of the July 4th holiday demand crunch at Preston & Steve’s 3rd Annual Blood Drive. The event took place on Saturday, June 21st, at the Philadelphia Cruise Terminal in Philadelphia, PA.

The annual event was no "pint-sized effort" and proved to be a record setting day for the Philadelphia Chapter of the American Red Cross, collecting 1,367 pints of blood donated exclusively by WMMR listeners.

“Though we had free 'I Bleed for Preston & Steve' t-shirts, commemorative pint glasses, free pint of Preston & Steve’s Gadzooks ice cream and free tickets to see national recording artists 3 Doors Down, I thought the best parting gift offered to every donor was a personal thank you from the morning show who signed autographs for 10 straight hours,” says WMMR Program Director Bill Weston.
